Fun Friday Fall Festival

Today we had a Team Treasure Fall Festival.  We read the story, "How Many Seeds are in a Pumpkin."  Then we split into two groups to do a pumpkin investigation with both a large and small sized pumpkin.  We described the pumpkin using adjectives.  We predicted how many seeds were in each pumpkin and then counted the seeds by fives and tens.  We also painted pumpkins, read "Where the Wild Things Are", made our "Wild Things" puppets and had some delicious snacks!  We had a fun-filled day of learning.  Thanks to all families that donated food or their time to help make our Fall Festival a complete SUCCESS!
